The Lanes + Press Hall

A 2 phase project comprising of a 2 story new build for hospitality (The Lanes) and the planning and curation of an Interior Market Hall (Press Hall)

Phase 1 - The Lanes This was a new 2-story hospitality building by Allistar Cox Building and Interiors, aimed to activate the lanes from one of the busiest streets in Wellington and draw people into the new hospitality zone. The building is host to 3 kiosks and a wine bar upstairs. Defined by a classic green tiled facade with large solid timber double hung windows and shiplap timber profiling. The design and materials were extensively researched to ensure a cohesive design and acknowledge past design along this street.

Phase 2 - Press Hall Allistar Cox Building and Interior worked on the planning of the new interior market hall, creating zones for different kiosks and ensuring a good mix of seating and circulation and defining what the market experience should feel like. The team was then were hired by several of the new tenants to design their kiosks.
