Brutalist Soul, Bespoke Interior: The Kiwi Wealth Fit-Out

Occupying four floors of a Brutalist building in Wellington, this project offered a rare opportunity to marry mid-century modern sensibilities with raw architecture. Allistar Cox Building and Interiors delivered a comprehensive fit-out rooted in meticulous spatial planning and an aesthetic that dialogues with the building’s historic bones.

Warmth was introduced through extensive custom woodwork, from delicate detailing to the striking, full-height doors and windows that define the meeting rooms. Technical requirements, including acoustic treatments and collaborative whiteboards, were integrated into the architectural fabric, ensuring that modern functionality never compromised the project’s mid-century aesthetic.
